Woofstock – The City of Sunrise’s annual celebration of dogs and dog lovers – will take place on Saturday, February 3, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Sawgrass Sanctuary Park (237 North New River Circle, Sunrise 33326).

Admission is FREE, and the first 500 canines through the gates will receive a “Doggie Bag” of treats. Bring your furry BFF or adopt one on site!

Woofstock will feature entertainment, demonstrations, rescue groups, and food and specialty retail vendors. This year’s schedule of events includes:
Air K9z Frisbee Show – 10:30 a.m.
Wiener Dog Races – 11:00 a.m.
Contest: Grooviest Threads – 12:00 p.m.
Air K9z Frisbee Show – 12:30 p.m.
Wiener Dog Races – 1:00 p.m.
Sunrise Police Department K9 Demonstration – 1:30 p.m.
Please note that retractable leashes are not permitted, and all dogs must have a current rabies tag for admittance. For safety reasons, dogs too young or too old to receive the rabies vaccine are not permitted at the event.
